I was trying to find old photos of construction and factory workers holding this lunch pal on their way to work. It never registered that it is from 1940 and the majority of these positions were filled by women as many of the men were fighting WWII.
The decorating possibilities start swirling in my head...stacking books, surrounding it with other vintage items to create a French Country look...OR for Christmas, piling my DIY coal for a little razzle dazzle.
This scale was made in 1907 by Landers, Frary & Clark. That's right, over 100 years old!
