1940's Lunch Pal and the LADIES that used them!

1940's Lunch Pal and the LADIES that used them!

While I may have thought this gem was a tool box before Melissa swiftly corrected me...I was smitten with the patina and dents.

After some quick research, I confirmed this is a lunch box predominantly used in the 1940's. I found it buried in a garage at a recent estate sale.

It is perfect for shelf decorating but also a tribute to the LADIES that used it every day.

I was trying to find old photos of construction and factory workers holding this lunch pal on their way to work. It never registered that it is from 1940 and the majority of these positions were filled by women as many of the men were fighting WWII.

Check out these bad ass ladies!
